I started calling Subarus customer advocacy sent them videos of what was going on and asked for Tec advice. I took the car in yesterday and they said they couldn’t duplicate the problem. I Show them the videos and the tech seems stumped. Why after the car has been driven on 90° day and parked for 30 minutes when you restart start the RPMs are over 1500.

If the leak isn’t caused by damage to the oil pan then the leak should be fixed under warranty. In my case, it was leaking due to a defect from the factory so Subaru covered it.

@@ronfromportland oil plug dripping. Rest of the pan dry. Went to losen oil plug and didn't even need a wrench. That in combination with too much oil, has to be the reason of the leak. I'm a first time Subaru owner. This is the reason why I hate dealers doing maintenance. Volvo must've did the oil change to sell the car and completely disregarded oil capacity AND tightening the plug to specs.

@@ronfromportland oh, and this oil plug washer is definitely aftermarket. It's a big plastic washer. Pretty sure Subarus don't use this

Not bad if you’re in high gear and low rpms. Deceleration is when it’s the loudest though.

My ch button switches between radio / CarPlay. I noticed it only works half the time as in when I switch to the radio from CarPlay, it won’t switch back using the ch button.

Rear diff bolts are 44.7, rear diff carrier bolts are 51.6

I never experienced this on my setup Assuming it’s not your TOB, I’d check all the lines for blockage. My s2000 made a chirping noise when I found out the CCV line was blocked. The chirping was a result of the system being over pressurized. Hope this helps!

@@ronfromportland I know it’s not the TOB because it was replaced recently and the noise started after installing the turbo inlet. I might have to go through everything again. I smoke tested the system and found no leaks but I appreciate the response thanks!

Yup, they do. I prefer these over the sturdy ones though because they reduce the risk of getting caught on an object and ripping the bumper off.

If I remember correctly, you only need the plug n play harness + the DCI unit since the harness should have a separate wire to plug the DCI into. I’d double check that though!

I’ve heard it should fit on some 2017s but you’re going to want to address the weather strip on top. The pre 2018s don’t have the door to the mounts. Other than that, I don’t see why they won’t work. Hope this helps.

The bottom plastic piece limits access to the bolts. Removing the bumper is the easiest way to swap out the fogs

Some folks have achieved that sound without the intake but it’s recommended to have the full effect. Just be careful. Some say flutter is bad and since my turbo blew, I agree. Always tune when you can. My tuner said retuning wasn’t required for the BPV.
